Knowing what matters.
Making it happen.

Together, we combine a buyer’s perspective with hands-on operational, and project management experience. It means we understand what buyers are looking for, but also what it takes to make change happen within a business - while keeping the work practical, prioritised and focused on the intended exit.

Our story

It started on the buy side

The idea for KP Exit Partners came from Pete’s experience on the buy side. He kept seeing the same thing: genuinely great businesses that he would have loved to buy, but that weren’t ready to be bought.

Not because they weren’t good businesses. Simply because too much still depended on the owner, the numbers didn’t tell the full story, processes weren’t documented, or the business wasn’t prepared for the level of scrutiny that comes with a transaction.

And often, the challenge isn’t knowing that improvements could be made. It’s having the time, resource and capacity to address and implement them while continuing to run the business or prepare for a transaction. For owners, management teams, Corporate Finance Advisors and Private Equity investors alike, that resource can be difficult to find internally.

KP Exit Partners was created to provide that missing resource - bringing together buy-side perspective and hands-on execution to help businesses address these issues before they become transaction problems.

Good preparation starts with a conversation.
